• Minimum 8 years’ working experience in Marine Industry and more preferred experienced on piping materials control
• Minimum ITE diploma and above for fresh graduate
• Must be able to read and speak basic English
• Basic Computer Microsoft Skill

Job Scope

• Responsible to study the project requirement, specification and to support lead engineer for work procedure submission.
• Responsible for expediting materials to be deliver on-time and control of material issuance for fabrication or installation teams / sub-contractors.
• Responsible for FIM and delivery status.
• Coordination with fabrication and project team for the required materials need to be expediting for execution, prepare fabrication package based on availability materials and isometric.
• Coordination with fabrication and project team for the additional piping materials due to clashes, changes or modification.
• Highlight piping engineering issues to project lead & follow-up with the engineering team for the resolution.
• Monitoring of Clients’ Site Instruction (SI) and follow up required action.
• To assist section manager in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedure, quality control, safety, training, and development of multiskilled and thinking employees.

Job Scope

• Mark and cut of the pipe materials as per the drawings given, in doubt cross check with the Foreman or supervisor prior to cut.
• Mark the bevel ends as required for fit up works
• Good knowledge of Isometric drawing to interpret the welding symbols & cut length verification in order to prepare the pipe fit-up joints.
• Ensure the all the root joint are grinded well prior to fit.
• Proper knowledge of fitting sequence and liaise with welding team for difficult/constraint area of welding.
• Proper checking of all required and related tools and equipment prior to start work.
• Provide additional support whenever is required to avoid welding shrinkage
• Mark and cut of the pipe support material as per the drawings given & fit-up accordingly.
• Identify and provide additional supports for the pipe spools installation/erection.
• Take out all temporary supports without damaging parent material, if any.
• Sending gas hoses to maintenance department for leak checking every 14 days
• Ensuring all flash back arrestors is calibrated every month.
• Ensure all gas hoses are run properly and proper cable management.
• Any other duties being assigned by your Superior.

Job Scope

• To lead group of workers
• Conduct daily tool box meeting to brief workers on daily activities and safety aspects concerned to the respective jobs
• Make sure that all the workers having the necessary tools for their work
• Assign duties to workers according to their capabilities
• Ensure the work deadlines are met within given KPI
• Keep activity record and submission of the daily manpower & job progress to Supervisor in written
• To read structural drawing, weld symbols, understand fitting sequence to avoid reworks and double handling
• Perform the QC roles along with foreman's task
• Raise RFI (request for Inspection) and follow-up with inspections
• Responsible for fabricating, assembling and fitting structural steel while maintaining quality and accuracy in accordance with the provided drawings
• Perform FIT-UP configurations, various materials/profiles especially pipes (12" and above diameter)
• Control the workmanship of all workers and materials
• Train workers to do correct method, quality job & good workmanship
• Strictly in force discipline of actual working time utilization to improve productivity
• Arrangement of logistic for materials and maintenance of hand tools record
• Liaise with immediate Superior regarding production schedules, safety aspects and arrange job at site accordingly
• Able to perform all type of fabrication works and should lead multi trades such as marker/fitter/fairing man/grinder
• Lead/guide workers to get more productivity
• Follow up with daily plan and activity list and pre-planned next day activity and with supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping on respective Modules and around work areas.
• Make sure that all the workers are wearing the PPE and to ensure all the safety checks are in order.
• Any other ad-hoc duties being assigned by your Superior

Job Scope

• Attend daily tool box meeting to know daily activities and safety aspects concerned to the respective assigned jobs
• Able to perform as CUTTER, MARKER and FAIRING MAN
• Read structural drawing, weld symbols and understand fitting sequence to avoid reworks/double handling
• Check and ensure material thickness and grade prior to start fitting
• Knowledge of engineering drawing to determine materials requirements and task sequences
• Perform of FIT-UP configurations, various materials/profiles especially pipes (12" and above diameter)
• Able to perform proper marking, basic dimensions check and knowing of tolerances
• Able to mark reference points onto floors or templates and transpose them to workpieces, using drift pins, measuring devices, squares, chalk, etc
• Knowledge on Material grades designation
• Able to align and fit parts according to specifications using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, etc
• Responsible for fabricating, assembling and fitting structural steel while maintaining quality and accuracy in accordance with the provided drawings
• Good knowledge about safe handling of load and various fitting methods using jigs and fixtures
• Proper knowledge of usage of tools and equipment
• Able to set up and operate fabricating machines such as flame cutters, grinding, presses to bend and drill
• Ensure transferring of Heat no. and Unique no. accurately (hard stamping) prior to cut
• Provide extra allowance and temporary supports to prevent welding shrinkage
• Provide run-off tabs at butt-joint weld locations
• Straightening of deformed members by either fairing (using LPG torches) or straightening machine
• Fitters should be pre-qualified tack welders
• Handover off-cut materials with proper identification /hard stamped on it
• Should able to achieve the given KPI of assigned jobs
• Update daily progress to the Foreman
